Drop-in sessions

The studio is open on Thursday afternoons - come along and spin, knit crochet, whatever you fancy, and take the opportunity to browse amongst books, looms, sock machines, yarns and fibres.  (No charge, just a contribution to tea / coffee)

Knitting and Crochet

Workshops run by the Highland Knit and Crochet Guild.  Cost: £10


Sunday 2 February: Texture in knitting and crochet - learn how to add interest to a plain pattern with textured stitches

Sunday 2 March: Colour - learn how to work with two or more colours at once

Sunday 13 April: Cables can be simple or intricate - learn to use them, and to understand written and charted instructions for them

Sunday 4 May: Problems - come and see if we can help with your knitting or crochet problems

These are pigments used in food colouring  - learn how to mix them and have fun experimenting with different ways of using them on wool and other protein fibres.  Look out for future dates.
